MUNDY TOWNSHIP, Michigan — The 7-month-old baby boy who was
found not breathing in a daycare on Monday is in critical condition, according to Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.
Daycare workers called 911 around 11:30 a.m. Monday about the boy not breathing. Police have declined to name the daycare but Sheriff Robert Pickell said it is located on South Linden Road, near Maple.
Authorities aren't saying what happened to the boy. Leyton also said police are "operating under the assumption there was some trauma." Leyton declined to specify what the trauma was because the investigation is still active.
