FLINT, Michigan — A 10-month-old baby boy suffered a fractured skull, lacerated liver and hemorrhaging on the brain in what case workers believe was abuse by the father, according to a police report.
The boy's father said the incident occurred in the car when he accidently fell on the boy, but hospital workers say the injuries are not consistent with the explanation, according to the report.
The incident occurred on Dec. 21 on East York Avenue and was reported to police Wednesday, according to the report. The boy's condition is unknown.
